Steve Gullick (guest speaker) 7/2/12

In our seminar lecture with Steve he gave us real life examples of govening experiences that are important in school trips. The first handout was about health and safety when taking children on a school trip what are the correct things you will need. In the task we had to write our own check list on what we thought was needed in order to make sure you created a safe school trip. Once we had finished we went around the class and gave different examples such as consent forms, first aid kits etc. He also explained what strategic planning is, we are now aware that SMT, staff and governors all have a meeting to produce a development plan.
