Different Texts

In our lesson today we have been looking at different ways to create text and images. This is one of the graffiti texts I have created using my name and changing the colour and size of each letter.

I created this text on www.tagxedo.com I typed in the word topshop, it a came up with all different words associated with topshop. Then I changed the colour of the text into a more girly pink.

This is another text I have created. In Text-Image. I uploaded a photo of tinkerbell and it created it into a photo with text


I had alot of fun creating different styles of texts and seeing how the images turned out.

Movie Maker

In our last lesson on the 10th Jan, Mandy put us into groups of four in my group was Me Ffion Carl and Tom. Mandy gave everyone a topic to make a movie too. Our topic was "people". We went around the university campass and made a small video using a pen and paper to explain what we do in uni and the people who play a role on our Education Studies course. There was no speaking in our movie. We found one of our lectures Caroline Lewis and she wrote on paper what she did in the university. We also went to the library and had a clip of two women that work there and how they help us if we need to find a book for an assignment.
Once we had all the clips we needed we returned back to class and put it all together in order with music and played it.

Christmas

I had a lovely Christmas I spend it with my family and in the night I went to stay with my boyfriend and all of his family. I have a 3 year old niece so it was lovely to see how excited she was for Santa and also about her Christmas presents, she had everything she wanted and was a very happy girl.
In the Christmas holidays I always went to London for the day with my boyfriend we went shopping and to the dungeons which was really fun.
I also worked alot over Christmas in both my jobs in the Liberty Satidum and in Next in Morfa the extra money helped over Christmas :)! I was a lovely break

Placement

On the 5th of December on my first year of placement I went to Aldeman Davies Primary School in Neath. It was such a lovely and welcoming school, made me feel right at home. I went into all different aged classes, my first day I was in Nursery with children ages 3 and 4. I stayed in Nursery for two days and I loved looking after and getting involoved with the childrens learning. I also went into year 2,3 and 4. It was a good experience to see how the different classes used different methods to teach the children. I enjoyed getting to know all the children and how they learnt. On the last day in placement I was able to go back into the class that I enjoyed and got the most experience from, I decided to go into Nursery as I bonded so well with the children and I just loved being around them and seeing how they learnt something new everyday.
